Quick service, excellent food. I had falafel plate and my friend had shwarma plate. Both were ample and delicious. Nice to sit and people watch. Clean bathroom.

After a very crap night out me and my friends ended up here to get some comfort food. The service is super fast and our haloumi plate was delicious. I love the fact that you can get your food until late and if you don't mind drunk part folks it's definitely one of the better options in this area. The food really made up for the overall shit night!

Conveniently located near Eberswalder Straße (U2 line), Ali Baba saved us after a drunken spree at Reingold.
Cheap, filling but boringly ordinary, we didn't mind that it wasn't the best drunk food. While I still prefer breakfast food for late night eats, when in Berlin, do it the locals way with döner kebab. HUGE portion stuffed with thin slices of chicken, tomato, lettuce and some kind of "special" sauce.
Just watch your compadre when he goes to the bathroom. It's a unisex stall, if he falls asleep in there, you might have to bang on the door loudly. And if there's anything worse than ordinary döner kebab, it's other pissed off drunks trying to get to the toilet. -

This is one of the better Shawarma stores in Prenzlauer Berg. Read: Shawarma, not Kebab - don't expect the friendly Arabs to use lamb for their sandwich like the Turkish do. Chicken rules the world here. It also comes in a wrap, not in a half-open sesame bread.
That being said, their Shawarma is quite good - not overly stuffed with veggies (tomato, lettuce, onions) and grilled chicken meat but it does the job.
Fun fact: Since most people don't seem to know the difference between Shawarma and Kebab they probably gave in at some point and also put Döner Kebab (3 Euro) on the menu. As there's no lamb available you'll technically get a Chicken Kebab. If you're hungry I recommend that over a Shawarma since the portion seems bigger.
Ali Baba has a nice interior - lots of cozy tables and a large window front for people watching. -

Our favourite place was closed due to renovation, so I came here to try this place since it is close by.
The inside looks ok, I was a bit disappointed with the food. We ordered Shawarma and Falafel wraps. The Shawarma didn't have a nice taste and the Falafel was quite dense and had not a good flavour. The cigara boreks were quite nice though!
